Referring a Child

Node Title

Referring a Child

Through Progressus Therapy’s Early Intervention (EI) program, our providers promote crucial skills for infants and toddlers who have or are at risk for developmental disabilities and delays. Working with a child’s family every step of the way, our early intervention services build skills in the areas of speech and language, fine and gross motor, visual motor, perceptual motor, effective environmental adaptation and functional living.

There are a number of ways a child may be referred for early intervention services. Progressus Therapy receives referrals from parents and caregivers, pediatricians, pre-school and daycare providers and educators. Once a child is referred to Progressus Therapy, one of our experienced, licensed clinicians will perform a thorough evaluation of the child. Once the evaluation is completed, the therapist will work with the family to determine the type, length and duration of services, as well as the goals for the child.
