Physical Therapy

Promoting movement and growth for children birth through school-age.

Physical Therapists play a pivotal role in helping children with special needs in areas of balance and movement, as well as other activities that involve the body’s large muscle systems. Our PTs focus on gross motor skills including stability and trunk control, sitting, crawling, rolling and walking, as well as transitional movement. Additionally, our physical therapists can support children and families who are in need of assistive or adaptive equipment in their home.

Beyond improving a child’s coordination and balance, physical therapy intervention helps provide a strong foundation of physical skills as young children prepare for school and beyond. By working with children and families in both the clinic and natural environments, Progressus' physical therapists help children achieve their goals where they live and play, while empowering parents and caregivers to incorporate the services throughout their daily family activities.
